Exciting News!
We are pleased to announce that Xen Arts has received it's funding from Arts Council England!
We will be using the funds to help us develop and transfer our work to a digital platform as well as continuing to reach our most vulnerable participants who can't access online activity
We're still here while lockdown is on! We're slowly but surely going digital, making sure we're getting things right as we transfer some of our groups to online platforms. Current classes online:
Rural Pulse - our youth dance company meets every Thursday at 3pm on Zoom! If you'd like to join us or know a young person 11 - 18yrs who would like to, please do get in touch!
Woodspring House
We are pleased to be able continue delivering our chair based dance sessions via Zoom to Woodspring House Care Home during this difficult time for residents....miss seeing everyone in person but we're still connected!
Dance To Health
Lots of exciting things happening with classes that Xen Arts deliver for Dance to Health! We have a regular weekly zoom class as well as bite-sized exercises going up every week on D2H and Age UK websites...here's the link - Do try this at home!
We Dance!
The project is celebrating cultures and traditions through the arts. Starting with traditional Maypole and folk music, we are then going on to explore the dances, music and traditions that other cultures bring. Who knows where this will lead us over the next few weeks as we begin to develop a piece for performance at Hunstanton's annual Blossom Day event on 4th May ...come along and see for yourselves!
